System reboot not working & no BIOS

Deleted Mcafee (expired), installed trail version of AVG antivirus software, not satisfy after 3 days and try to delete but it won't let me, window indicated system installed error, thought I didn't install correctly at the beginning, so I re-installed AVG again and delete again, next thing the screen turn black, restart can't go to the BIOS, cd/dvd drive can't reboot, system repair and command prompt won't work either. I know the drivers in the window are all mess up, any pro know how to repair or reboot to a new window? is anything wrong with the hard drive too?

Any suggestion would help, thanks..............

IF the BIOS doesn't even show up then the problem not related to Windows itself
Clear your CMOS/Reset BIOS and from Windows do a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html to undo the installation of AVG

ccue,

When you power up your laptop, precisely, what happens?

And oh yes, the advice you received before is relevant for a desktop. Normally, one doesn't take a laptop apart, especially an Asus.

Do you have a manual for your laptop? Yes or No?

Did you register your laptop with Asus? Yes or Not?

Thanks 4 ur suggestion, this problem is in my Asus U81A laptop, does laptop mobo has jumper and battery too?
It has a battery but it will require you to disassemble your laptop

Thanks again, took me two hours to disassemble the laptop, unplug all the wires, still can't find the battery, clean it up a little then put it back together, finally it took me to bios, reboot to a new window again, work like brand new now.

I congratulate you! Taking apart AND reassembling an ASUS is not a job for the weak-of-heart.

Glad to hear all is running well.

When I power up the laptop, press delete, then advance setting (F10), save mode with 5 choice and I pick the one last time window with good resolution, then on I reboot the window.
