Solved System recovery options searching for windows installation not working

Long story short:
1)Watch yahoo video..freezes with sound from yahoo video
2)bsod
2.2) start up windows normally only shows windows starting and hangs there no animation
2.3) only startup repair is available and running but ran it for 2 days and still searching for probs
3)f8 optionS don't work
4) change boot to cd/dvd(burned the iso windows 7 home premium 64bit to my dvd disc)
5)set settings
6)repair your computer
7)system recovery options searching for windows installations has been running
for 30mins...waiting till 1hr
8) i want to stop it but can't...can i switch my pc off using the power button?
9) now what?

Yes. You can switch off.

Are you saying that you can not boot to safe mode?

BOOT TO SAFE MODE​

Ø Power down your computer.
Ø Power up your computer.
Ø IMMEDIATELY—Start tapping the SPACEBAR
Ø When the Windows Boot Manager screen appears,
Press the F8 key
Ø The Advanced Boot Options screen will appear.
Ø Using the down arrow key, highlight Safe Mode
Ø Press the ENTER key.

In shorthand,
PowerUp | Spacebar until Windows Boot Manager
| F8 | Safe Mode | ENTER

thx for this idea but..do i need the dvd on the drive or? cuz im still choosing the option repair your computer..and now system recovery options searching for windows installation..dont know how long it will take

Follow the procedure.

Did you manage to boot into Safe Mode? Yes/No.

oops forgot to mention..yeah i have...i see safe mode on all four corners of the screen and microsoft(r) windows(r) build 7600...and running the system recovery options with searchin for windows installations

carry out following, which will help point me in the direction of the problem and the solution:

list of STARTUP PROGRAMS

CCleaner | Tools icon | Startup button | Windows tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept Startup.txt as file name | SAVE button

list of SCHEDULED TASKS

CCleaner | Tools icon | Startup button | Scheduled Tasks tab |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
enter Scheduled Tasks as File name | Save button

List of INSTALLED PROGRAMS

CCleaner | Tools icon | Uninstall button |
click on Save to text file button (bottom right side) |
accept install.txt as File name | Save button


UPLOAD the startup.txt file
UPLOAD the Scheduled Tasks.txt file
UPLOAD the install.txt file.

woah wait i did the procedure with the cd that is why safe mode is working..it is not working if i didnt put the windows 7 dvd inside...and how am i suppose to install ccleaner if i cant even access the desktop screen?

did my instructions say anything about a cd/dvd? No.

Now go back and try it without using a cd/dvd.

Good. Then do it again.

Use the procedure I gave, without a cd/dvd.

You notice the procedure is testing whether you can boot into Safe Mode.

The procedure is not testing anything more than that.

In case you can not boot into Safe Mode using that procedure, then:
What error messages appeared?

windows cannot startup properly and then it automatically runs startup repair....

Do you have a 32 bit or 64 bit version of Win 7?

Go to another computer with a 64 bit version of Windows installed and carry out this procedure:

CREATE A SYSTEM REPAIR DISC

START | type System Repair | Enter key | Create Disc button

Do you have a Win 7 DVD?

Oh yes, that procedure will prompt you to insert a cd/dvd.
CD is sufficient. DVD is also OK.

booted up win 7 dvd already...if i use repair your computer it just shows system recovery options searching for windows installations and well i guess its stuck....this is why im left with the options clean install of windows 7....

Yes, I have a Win 7 DVD.
No, I do not have a System Repair Disc.

What you are observing is normally self-inflicted problem.

Did you install/try to install a Linux-variant, for example Ubuntu? Yes/No. If yes, which one.

Did you install/try to install XP after Win 7 was already installed? Yes/No.

I'm trying to avoid you having to do a 100% clean install.

Would you rather perform a 100% clean install?

its installed for me when i bought it...and uh i remembered installing microsoft net framework 4 and also i have daemon tools i think there is the sptd.sys error? without the cd i CANNOT do anything AT ALL. even with the win 7 dvd right now repair your computer doesnt work...so im left with clean install right?

With the other problems you have related, then, YES, I believe that the path of least-resistance is going to do a 100% clean install.

The Win 7 DVD== is that a "full" version or an "upgrade" version?

Where did you purchase the DVD?

i didn't purchase it...i downloaded it off microsoft website the iso....extracted it first and scanned with superantispyware+avg/avast just incase a day ago.
