System Recovery

Besides starting a new thread, please explain more clearly what went wrong and what you have done before and since then. Your rant is not clear at all.

Please also try using Internet Explorer 8 for a week to compare the difference.

sorry

I was pretty upset when I wrote it..

I thought it was a thread that we could use when it was problems with system recovery..

I didnt do anything from 1 day to the other I had just turned off the computer after I had played a game and the next day when I started the computer again it had done like a system recovery by its own or something because everything that I had saved on the desktop was gone and my bookmarks that I had on firefox was gone as well and the background picture that I had was changed to the microsoft picture and the stuff that I had saved on the game was gone as well so I had to start the game from the beginning again..

nothing like that has happened when I used windows xp if I didnt told it to make a system recovery..

I found a website that I cant remember now where it say that it is possible to turn off the system recovery by rightclick "my computer" and then choose properties so I have done it now..

I wont start a new thread...

Sorry again for my message earlier.

You should not turn off System Restore as you will lose the ability to go back in time to before a problem occurs.

System Retore will not run on its own, unless your computer is unbootable and it runs it as a part of Startup Repair.
