Heya
I have a problem, obviously. And I wasn't sure which section to post this in.

Right, i'll try to explain it not to detailed;
-Was multitasking between online videos and facebook, when suddenly one of those 'Do you trust 'such and such'' windows came up (with the dimed background).
-I cannot remember what it said but it wouldnt let me press 'No'.
-So I had to trust it (but I would have pressed 'Yes' anyway).
-So when it went away, displayed on my screen was a new window, and again I didn't really look at it, but I defintely remember that it was an error window. Again I pressed yes, and this was because I didn't understand a word of it.

This is where my problem comes in;
-After pressing 'yes' the computer restarts and comes up with a 'System Repair' screen, tells me that its looking for the problem.
-When finished it says 'Unable to repair' or something along those lines, and then followed by 'remove all external hardware (mp3s, controllers etc) and try again'
-I do this, doesnt work same screen.
-And now i'm stuck.
EDIT: Its the 'Startup Repair' option/window in the 'System Recovery Options' window.

I want to know if all I need is my Win7 cds or is there a better solution.
Info: My computer is a Toshiba Satellite A660 I believe but im not quite sure (havent upgraded anything).

All help is appreciated.

My Computer

OS
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
See if you can boot into Safe Mode with Networking to install, update and run a full scan with Malwarebytes. Then repair system files by running SFC -SCANNOW Command

If not, boot into System Recovery Options, accept any offered Repair. If Windows 7 doesn't start boot back in to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots. If repairs won't work from F8 Advanced Boot Options Repair console use WIn7 DVD Repair console or System Repair Disc - Create which don't depend on System files to run.

If this fails, boot back into DVD/Repair CD System Recovery Options to try System Restore, and SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot

Next download and burn to CD BitDefender bootable AV scan to run a Full Scan, then try the above repairs again: FREE Bootable AntiVirus Rescue CDs Download List

If all fails you can attempt to copy out your files using DVD/Repair CD: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

Then either run Factory Recovery if an OEM, Recovery Disks, or use a Win7 DVD to clean reinstall. Toshiba Recovery
Reinstalling Windows 7

I will try this, and see what happens.
