Alright, I want to erase everything on my C: drive and return to factory default settings while keep everything in my D: drive. I'm currently using Windows 7. I tried the F8 method but the "Repair my Computer" option isn't there. I also tried the method Recovery typed into the search bar but it can only restore to a few days back or a couple months back which isn't what I want. The other method was to use the "Advanced Recovery Method" but it says it "Could not find required recovery files". No, I can't use any sort of disc either since I don't have one. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. And trust me, I have done my research. This was my last resort.

You have to make that disk. So unless you made it your out of luck.
I think what your looking for is Allow Win7 to Format and make a partition. the made partition is where it stores DATA.
Is this what you want?

Forgot to mention this but I'm not exactly a good at computers.
Anyways, I just want a fresh system recovery or whatever its called.
I just want it to go back to the way I bought my computer while keep all my files in the D: drive.
Not really sure what partition means. But yea, if the only way to make this work is to make the disc, could you tell me how?
