System Restore Points / Windows Updates

Hello Forum,

I need to restore my system to a prievious restore point. There have been several 'Windows Critical Updates' to my system after the restore point I'm going back to. I'm assuming that these updates will be removed due to the restore process.

My question(s) is, does Windows recognize that these updates are no longer installed on my system? Will Windows reinstall them after the system restore?

Yes, windows will try and re-install. If not automatically, just click 'check for updates'
