Hello!
Does a system restore disc or USB removes malware or any viruses?
Thank you
If something should go wrong, a 'dirty' restore point to return to is better than none at all. Leave system restore alone until you know your computer is clean, then create a new restore point. (which will wipe all old ones out)First you will have to delete your restore points because your virus is there as well. Just turn off system restore for your drives. You can turn them back on later.
Download combofix from HERE and follow the directions. After combofix has repaired your computer run a full scan with Malwarebytes.
If you KNOW you have a clean restore point, you can use it.
I have rescued several systems with Nasty infections by turning back the clock to BEFORE the infection occurred.
