System Restore

Hi
I create an System Restore point manually but it wil delete after the period time.
How Can i force Win7 to dont ever delete my Point.
and Do can i save my point in special Directory.

You could increase the amount of space system restore takes up, which would allow for more and older points to be kept. Not sure if you can save a specific point indefinitely though.

If you want to be certain to keep a restore point, you should do imaging to an external disk ( http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/73828-imaging-free-macrium.html?ltr=I ). The imaging files you can manage yourself, but the restore points are managed by the system on a FiFo (first in-first out) basis. Even with a very large shadowstorage (that's where the restore points are being kept), it will eventually overwrite the oldest restore points.
