System Restore

I'm finding that when I manually set a restore point, quite often when I try to use it
it gives me the error that SR did not complete, no files were changed, etc.
I'm using Windows 7, pro. Could use some help for this problem.

If this is factory preinstalled Win7 then that is a corrupt install to begin with so I'd consider getting the superior Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Before you start System Restore, save any open files and close all programs. System Restore will restart your PC.
