System will no longer let me Drag and Drop within windows explorer or to other programs.

I don't understand what is going on. I've completely shut down the PC entirely, and restarted. I uninstalled the mouse sharing program that I was using that I thought was causing the issue.

Now everytime I restart my PC, this happens.

I can't drag and drop anything, especially to other programs.

I believe you can hit the Escape key while you are trying to drag the mouse, and that will restore the Drag and Drop.

This doesn't solve the problem. I only lose what I'm dragging.

Your computer may have lost the drag sensitivity.

Have you ever used the computer's systems restore or regedit before?

Here is instructions on how to check the drag sensitivity in the registry.

Press the Windows Logo+R Keys to open the Run dialog.

Type regedit.exe in the Open box and click OK. There are two panes in regedit, a left pane and a right pane.

In the Left Pane navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

In the Right side pane, look for the following: DragHeight and DragWidth.

Check the Data value for both DragHeight and DragWidth. Both values should be set to 4.
