Hey guys

I reformatted about 2 weeks ago to try and get rid of this BSOD and now it is back for some reason.

I ran memtest for 6 hours and all passes.

OS - 64bit Ultimate Windows 7
Installed for - 2 Weeks
Hardware Age - 3 Months

Programs
NOD32 Smart Security
ATI Catalyst 10.7

I Have included a mini dump as required by the posting instructions.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated as this computer wants to be thrown into a train.

BLUESCREENVIEW suggests that
ntoskrnl.exe is the root cause of several BSOD

Hi and welcome

I was about to tell you to run memtestx86. What memtest did you use? Did you use memtestx86 to test your ram?

Eset Nod32 appear to be process running at the time of crash in one of the minidump. Third party antivirus software are notorious cause for BSOD in some system. I recommend you to remove it for testing. If you need a Antivirus program to protect your system during this time. You might want to use Microsoft security esssential, it is known for BSODs free.
How to uninstall or remove ESET Nod32 antivirus totally?
MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Still getting a BSOD, I am using COMODO Internet Security instead of MSE.

I get the BSOD very often when "Alt Tabbing" out of a fullscreen game. It flickers black for abit and then BSOD's.

What could it be? Would it be a ATI Catalyst Issue?

BlueScreenView still suggests

Win32k.sys and ntoskrnl.exe

I have added a new minidump

I can't see any minidump files in the one you uploaded. Please following this instruction instead to post your minidump, and also make sure you have set your system to create minidump:

upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

Windows 7:
Go to Start and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button
Ensure that "Automatically restart" is unchecked
Under the Write Debugging Information header select "Small memory dump (64 kB)" in the dropdown box
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as "%systemroot%\Minidump" (without the quotes)
Click OK twice to exit the dialogs, then reboot for the changes to take effect.

If you are using any program such as CCleaner, they may clean out your minidump folder, please double check that

Okay done.

Added the new minidump.

I wonder if this is graphics related :(

When playing Singularity (Fullscreen game) and I alt tab after one second the screen goes black then BSOD's. Going to try uninstalling ATI Catalyst and installing 10.4

I'm not sure if I'm gonna blame the ATi graphic card though but it's always good to update though. The dump point out that the process running at the time of crash is the Singularity. I would update directx as well:
Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime

STOP 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Usual causes: Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS
As you can see, third party antivirus software can be a potential cause. I like COMODO though because that what I install for my parents computer and it run smoothly, but any third party AV can cause BSODs and in your case, if all of the above doesn't help, I would try to remove COMODO.

Code:
BugCheck 50, {fffff900c492b084, 0, fffff9600028c42e, 0}

Could not read faulting driver name
Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k!MulConvertChildRedirectionDfbSurfaceToDib+46 )

Followup: MachineOwner

As you play games, I would give you this article to read and try, it contain everything including what I suggest you above:

I uninstalled Comodo and Installed the latest DirectX.

Opened up Singularity game again and alt tab. Instant BSOD.

After restarting I did a full uninstall of Ati Catalyst 10.7.

I went into Singularity again and began alt tabbing constantly, hasnt BSOD yet and hopefully it won't so it may be Ati Catalyst.

Do I need Ati Catalyst drivers?

Still BSOD but not as a result of ALT TAB anymore. USBOHCI.SYS and once again ntoskrnl.exe are the culprits. Sigh might have to do a full reformat. The second reformat within a month.

You don't need Catalyst Control center, just driver itself is enough. I know Catalyst control center cause trouble while in game somtime
