Take pictures off of Wordpad

Hello,
My wife put pictures on Wordpad and now we are trying to get them off and we seem to can't do that cause of a lil box that pops up and basically says you can't.
Is there anyway to take them off somehow or is there any type of program?
She is using Windows 7 32bit and used standard Wordpad.

I would like to be able to help you but I don't know how you even get pictures into Windows Wordpad.

If you mean that wordpad is trying to show pics you will have to restore the default file type associations, have a read here.

Were the pictures put into the document via the Insert Picture function? If so, you should be able to click on the picture to select it, then press the Del key to delete it.

Any chance you could post a screenshot of the opened document with the error you get when attempting to delete?
