Task Manager not closing programs and explorer not responding.

So my Task Manager not closing programs, explorer is not responding I am getting stuck on log of screen, Computer Management gets stuck of "Connecting to Virtual Disk Service" and a number of other programs are crashing and not restarting. I don't get much time on my computer until it goes into this state. All these problems seem to come on at once. It started few weeks ago and I am not sure what I could have done that started this.
