Task scheduler problem

I use DirSyncPro as a backup-tool. This tool can also run from the command-line, so it can also be used from within the task scheduler. Within Vista and XP this works fine.

In Windows-7 I use the following action within the scheduler:
D:\software\dirsync\dirsyncpro /sync /quit /nogui d:\data\dirsyncpro\ilse.dsc

Running this task it keeps on running but doing nothing.

I deleted the "/nogui" parameter and then the gui is activated and the following error-message is displayed:
Error while loading configuration 'd:\data\dirsyncpro\ilse.dsc'

If I try, within the dirsyncpro (started by scheduler), to manualy load the ilse.dsc I'm getting the same error.

Running the action from within a dos-box the action is running fine, also if I start dirsyncpro from the desktop loading the ilse.dsc isn't a problem.

Hello rvlaming,

Welcome to 7 Forums.

Not sure it would help, but have you tried checking 'run with highest privileges'. Also there is a 'configure for' drop down. Might try something different there. Sorry, I have no experience with this app. so can't offer anything more.

Hope this helps.

Gary
