Taskbar button grouping advice needed

I have set the Taskbar buttons to never combine.
The problem is when I try to move a window button to the far left all related buttons go with it.
Is there any way I can set it up to just move individual buttons in the same way the tabs work in Firefox.

Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find it if it has.

Marcus.

No, that is what he already has disabled (Combine taskbar programs)

I do not think there is a way to change this, but let me look around.

EDIT: It does appear to be impossible to move the same programs out of groups. I find it slightly irritating, but not a big deal. You will just have to live with it and adapt, sorry. :(

Like you say it isn't a biggie, I’ve just got into the habit of moving specific tabs in Firefox and would have liked to be able to do the same with the taskbar buttons.
You can't win em all, eh?

Thanks both for looking into this for me. .

I understand. I would like to do the same as well, but it's not a big deal.

No problem. It was something I was curious about too.

Since I use wide screen it's better for me using my task bar on the left side to use full depth of my screen but is there any way of setting the windows button at the bottom to it's original location. In essence flip it over? I know dumb question but it would work better for me
