My default setting for the taskbar buttons is never combine.
However, I use Sticky Notes a lot - that's why its pinned to the taskbar, so it saves all my notes. Therefore, I would like the tab for sticky notes to be like if it were combined, so the tab is smaller, and not like the usual size.

basically it should look like this
it should be as small as it is in the picture, not like i.e. the google mail tab.
however, if i add some new stickies the tab becomes like the google mail tab.

If you guys don't understand what I mean, please say it, so I can be more precise.

I completely agree with you, If you were able to have the Sticky Notes kept as just an icon the world would be a better place, Hence why i came about your Topic.

I want what you want, Sticky notes as part of the notifications area icons or equivalent.

Really, I just cant be bothered downloading extra software.

It'd be nice for you be able to choose which programs auto-combind but
Ive got enough space on my two 22" monitors to live with it.

But thanks anyway guys
