Taskbar disappearing start orb left behind

Hi all, I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could help me with this problem:
The taskbar is disappearing, and the start orb is left behind, I have no idea how this happened and it doesn't happen on my laptop. I'm using two different sized screens if it matters...

/EDIT 2 Also the only way to fix it is by terminating explorer.exe and restarting it again

Hello VirtualPenguin,

It may be a glitch in just this user account. As a test, create a new administrator account and see if it does it in it.

If not, then you can copy the contents of your old user account's user folders into the corresponding new account's user folders. You can then delete the old user account from within the new account after everything checks out ok.
