Solved: Currently on laptop; no problem here, but on my PC the Taskbar (Lock checked) doesn't hold its' locked size. I have "Autohide" enabled and I adjust the size to my liking. It stays that size for a while, but will revert to about half the width of my selection; which was slightly over an inch.

I experimented with my taskbar to see if I could duplicate your problem. What I found was I need to UNcheck both the "Lock the taskbar" and "Auto-hide the taskbar" commands. Then I put my cursor at the bottom of the screen until it turned into a double-headed arrow and dragged my taskbar upward. Once I had it the desired size I checked the "Lock the taskbar" command first, and then the "Auto-hide" command. By doing it in that sequence I find that the taskbar size remains constant yet will still auto-hide. Snip on left shows collapsed taskbar and snip on right shows expanded taskbar.

I'll keep thinking good thoughts to the Windows gods and maybe the problem is solved. :D If not, please post back so we can try some more detective work.

No hiccups so I guess that did it; don't know why, but thanks.
