I know this is a repost. But I really really really find the white taskbar font on windows 7 very hard to read especially when the monitor is angled. The contrast is too low. I am not old and have good eyes. I can't easily read it and can imagine how hard it is for the elderly to read it.

I have tried adjusting the themes, disabling aero transparency and the only way to change it to black font is by using windows classic theme. I am very disappointed. Is there a registry entry to mod the font color? What can be done?

If u don't know how to change the font color but also agree that it can be easier to read. Please reply as well to let this demand be heard! :S

I second your demand! This is so incredibly annoying. I can't read the text on the taskbar icons either.

I feel your pain!
