taskbar freeze when connect usb mouse

I'm having this problem every time I connect my usb mouse the task bar freeze .. I did not have this problem before and I used this mouse many times .. I don't know what happend ?? I have to restart the laptob ( or closing explorer.exe ... there is several ways to work fine but without the mouse and I hate to use touchpad ... what is the solution ?

Any chance we can get your system specs and mouse model?

windows 7 prof x32 , eton optical mouse I don't know the module ...

I'm wondering why it was working fine and now not !!!!!!!!!!

Things change. It could be as easy as two drivers conflicting. Is the mouse USB?

Do other USB devices cause this behavior, or just that mouse?

Yes the mouse is USB , I checked another mouse which is acer ( also USB ) .. and the task bar did not freeze and it is working fine ,, is the problem from the eton mouse ? does it need driver update or what ? the eton mouse is new I bought it couple of weeks ago...??

haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa :huh: after I unplug the acer mouse and plug eton it worked !!!!!!!!! and the task bar did not froze !!:shock: what is the problem ?? how it worked again ?? if you know please tell me so I know the cause of the problem if I faced it again

It may not even be compatibility with win 7

What OS does the drivers support? XP, vista?

If other than win 7 you should install the drivers in compatibility mode.
(right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS)
