taskbar help

Hello,

Help please.

The taskbar buttons instead of being on the left hand side are all on the right in the shape of a small box. If any more than 2 windows are open a little scroll bar appears at the side. This is very annoying!

How can I get it back to a normal layout???

hello LeMans, and welcome to sevenforums,

from your pdf, it looks like you are using vista. this is a forum for the new windows 7.

also please learn how to use the snipping tool when submitting screenshots and save in a jpg format. there's a very good tutorial here...

Well, regardless of the OS you are using, simply right click on the taskbar, and deselect "Lock Taskbar". Then, you will see a row of dots in between each section. Simply drag each section to where you would like it, and then re-lock the taskbar.
