Using Virtual Audio Cable to split stereo sound into Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones and Logitech X-530 speakers.
His taskbar icons are not level. See screenshot.
To the OP: Try right-clicking on your taskbar and clicking Properties. Then uncheck Use small icons. Apply changes, and then change back if you want. Hopefully the problem will go away.

I get it now 
Do as Jon said above, then unlock the taskbar and go to the top edge of the bar, then click and hold once you see the up/down arrow, to move the bar down to keep everything level
