Taskbar question

Ok, I'm trying to set up my task bar so that some programs show up and some don't, but when I change to don't display all notifications and icons , my task bar trey area disappears and only shows that arrow thing.

How can I show some of my programs in the task bar and not have that arrow there?

You may need to go into "MSCONFIG" and disable some of the programs from starting with Windows. Also, some programs will let you disable the tray icon. Sometimes it needs to be done one by one.

Well it's not anything like that , but like the "safely remove usb" stuff, and a few other thing I dont want there . But I do want them to run still , just not in my task bar lol

I don't think you can have the "safely remove hardware" running anywhere else (that I know)

Some of the stuff like "action center" and "network" can be disabled in "turn system icons on or off" by right clicking down by the clock and hitting properties.

Yea I already turned those off in the system notifications stuff

The safley remove usb is lsited on my list of things I can not display , but Like I said when I chose to not display all my icons the only thign I can see is a arrow

Ok I found the answer for any one that needs it , you can drag and drop icons from that arrow menu thing I mentioned, and add and remove like that , the arrow still shows up but now I have only the icons there I want
