Taskbar text ( Quick Launch) area

Text is appearing next to the icon of programs that are running. How do I remove the text?

Right click on the taskbar and click properties. Make sure that where it says taskbar buttons 'always combine, hide labels' is choosen from the dropdown menu. Maybe that'll help ;)
