Taskbar/windows Color

I am running build 7100 and everytime I close out of Call of Duty world at war my taskbar/windows goes to the default blue and even if i try to update or change my preferences it will not change.
Sometimes if I re-open and close COD then it will revert back to the black color i have it set at. The only sure way that changes it back (till i play COD again) is a restart.

Any ideas on what is causing this and what may fix it?

My task bar is clear and reflects the background color of my wallpaper. Your's doesn't? :huh:

On the shortcut/properties under 'Compatibility' select 'Disable Visual Themes' and 'Disable Desktop Composition'. When you're exiting COD, it's not releasing the handler for the themes properly. This *may* fix it.
