Taskbar

Hello all,

I have installed windows 7 ultimate (retail) and i have a really annoying problem with the task bar.

when i open some installs, the bottom of the windows seem to go behind the taskbar, what i mean is the part at the bottom which usually has "OK" "CANCEL" etc is hidden behind the task bar and i cannot click it with the mouse.

I have to use the tab key to move down to it then hit enter.

is there a fix for this ?

Can you move the taskbar? You have a choice of locations.
You can also, hide it
Right click on taskbar, then properties for choices.

Did you try to drag the window further up.

thanks for the quick replies.

If i set the task bar on the right its fine, not ideal but it will give me a quick fix.

if i try and drag the window up, it just goes back down again when i let go of the mouse button...

If i set my res on the graphics higher all is fine, bar the blurred screen and unreadable text lol

How about hiding the taskbar?

that does sort the problem iam having, cheers, not keen on the taskbar not being there lol, but it does work and perhaps iam just being picky.

Right click on Desktop and pick personalize. Lower left corner tick display. Some time changing the percent will make the changes you are look for.
