Hi,

My taskbar has gone all funny. It all started when I had to reinstall Norton 360 on my laptop. When I have lets say, 3 explorer windows minimized at once - 1.JPG and I try to reopen one, it will not let me. When I run my mouse over the icon, nothing happens, and the same when I click on it. What has happened to this great preview feature?

Also, my vista sidebar has disappered (not asking for help - just in case it helps)

How long ago did this start - if it is a day or so you may want to try a system restore - to a point before the issues.

Otherwise, I would uninstall the Norton and go to the Norton site download and run the removal tool they provide. Norton is known for not removing completely with the standard uninstall

if this cures the issue as it should you can then re-install Norton 360

Great! I did a system restore, it said it did was not successful, but it has cured the taskbar problem. Aswell, it has brought back my sidebar. All without uninstalling Norton!!! What an achevement! Thanks Barman58 - ur reps going up!
