Tasks Arrow removal from Start Menu.

I have this arrow, next to my windows live shortcut in the start menu, and id like to get rid of it, I've tried running it with different compatibility settings, but to no avail, anyone know how to get rid of it?

Why would you want to remove it? It brings up a sub menu of useful shortcuts.

It is utterly annoying, it always appears when I just want to start messenger, then I need to click on my desktop to get rid of it to start all over again to get messenger running and btw I never use any of the "use full" links swarfega, just want to start messenger!

Tried a lot of things but nothing worked so far, I'm hoping that apatch will soon find something.
I send them a post about it, you never know.....
