Hi guys,

Are you able to tell me what caused my blue screen please? I had troubles with Zone alarm previously causing blue screens so changed to comodo but am curious as to whether this is now the problem.

- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? Vista 32 was originally installed
- an OEM or full retail version? Retail windows 7 pro
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 2 years ish
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?): 1 month tops

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Rob this one was caused by inspect.sys which is a part of Comodo.

For BSOD's only the things that cause less of them are Microsoft security essentials and the win 7 firewall

How to uninstall Comodo Firewall?

Hi Zigzag,
Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated.

I like the control you get with third party programs but if they can't do things without errors then Microsoft security essentials it is.

Again, thank you for your time and the fix.
