Hi Everyone,

I just bought a new HP Notebook Pavilion g7-11677dx. I download Teamviewer 6 and I get this error message

" error occurred duing the instalation of teamviewer. Probably some security software blocks network comunication. Please Permit network comunication on this computer to use Teamview "

I have tried to fix it the problem my self and allowed Teamview but still did not fix the issue> I Have also disabled all firewalls and antivirus, unistalled it and re installed it, still have the same issues, Called HP Tech Support and even brought mu PC to a computer repair shop. Still cannot open and use Teamviewer, I have eveb tried to download old versions, and that is not working, I never had this problem before with any of my computers. to download and use teamviewer. Does anyone here have the same problem ? and have a fix for this ? The only program I am able to use is Logmein.com it works but prefer teamview. Thanks

Teamviewer gave me plenty of quirky issues, so I ended up ditching it for LogMeIn.

The problem as I recall is the HP Connection Manager bloatware and is not resolved until it is uninstalled to default to the much-superior built in Win7 connection manager in System tray.

This is but one of many problems the preinstalled sponsors' bloatware and useless factory utilities can cause Win7, hampering its native state as the first featherlight, instantaneous OS.

Here are tips for cleaning up the factory bloatware which is worse on HP than any model: Clean up factory bloatware

Remy, feel free to ask back as many questions as you need. We will stick with you until this and any future problems are sorted.

We have great resources on trimming back bloatware, even clean reinstalling if/when you are ready to go completely clean with Win7.

Thats what I do with all my new laptops is just wipe them completely and get rid of all that unnecessary junk they come installed with. It's just ridiculous and I use teamviewer on all my computers and have had no issues with any of them.
