I'm looking at subscribing to TechNet but, being a tight-arse, I'm thinking about getting the UK one from outside the UK.
Reason for this: here in Switzerland, a year's subscription will cost 332.-CHF. The UK equivalent is £133.55, which comes out (at the moment) at around 175.-CHF - almost half price!
My main question is, if I did sign up for a UK account, can I still download the files from Switzerland? Are they restricted to location? I can cover the UK address etc., just worried about location as it frequently annoys me with Xbox Live downloads
(I'd love to change my location, but I can't!).
Thanks.
