Telecommunication question?

Hi,
I am working on an assignment. Basically, I have to assume that I am working in a company (anything from multinational to a small business) and I am working as a junior member of company and I had to create a situation. In short, I have to write a proposal to my supervisor and ask him to make changes in our products because it has technical errors.

I was allowed to chose my own topic so i have chosen that telephone lines with high frequency creates several problems as someone can catch signals and sometimes hear your conversation, which is not good for several reasons like privacy. So can someone give me some ideas (like bad side of this technology, what can be improved, how can this technology be dangerous). If u think that my topic is good then please add your ideas or else suggest me some good topics.

Sorry for writing so much stuff . Hope that you will reply coz it is worth 8% of my course.

What's your major? Why did you choose a problem that deals with fundamental physics?

Cross-talk is a long standing issue. Twisted pairs largely corrects the problem, and digitizing the signal at the CPE eliminates it.

You might want to clarify "our products" as regards to "it has technical errors".

Technical engineering 'human' resources v/s "Management"...

Are you sure you don't have to ask "her" ?

Also you might wanna look into SIP to replace the whole PSTN system while you're at it...
Sales pitch there is : costs a fraction of normal telecommunications !!

It can be anything. It can be fictitious or an actual problem. I have to assume thing and find a solution for that error(s) but it should have logic and sensible proof. Can you please add some ideas on this.
