gpu- 9500gt- idle 45- load havnt seen it pass 55c

my temps arnt bad though i think i should increase fan speed on gpu to get idle down a bit.

what are u guys temps?

Looks like your using the stock AMD hsf which does a pretty good job; my Intel stock hsf isn't as effective in controlling my max temperature. Your 9500gt since it doesn't clock itself down on idle (ATI does) seem pretty good as well, I doubt the additional noise that would be produced when you turn up the fan would make as big a difference. BTW, Did you turn on AMD's Cool and Quiet for your processor as well as the C-states and such?

cool and quite is automatically supported threw windows 7 if basic default power setting is choosen. so on idle my cpu goes to 800mhz x4 multiplier from x15 and the voltages drop as the power is needed it goes to 1.8ghz/2.4ghz/3.0ghz.

wat concerned me a bit was the max temp being 62c. when the cpu says max 70 is that considered the safe operation temp or like the fry ur cpu temp?

I'm pretty sure it won't "fry ur cpu temp", my i5 750 can hit 75C with the stock hsf, but that's with stress testing, which is hard to reach under normal usage, but if you want, you can buy an aftermarket hsf, the CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ seems pretty good.
