Sure there is core temp, everest, fan speed, and others. there are also gadgets that do just that for example everest runs in a gadget that doesnt take up a ton of room

I used to use Mobmeter but it doesn't work for me on W7 :cry:

That was a simple program that worked fine in XP. I've DLd CPUID so we'll see how that one goes.

Your question is incomplete. Different apps read temps from different places. Each of the referenced applications serve different purposes.

I use RealTemp when stressing an OC; SpeedFan for my RainMeter.
