Gentlemen, after looking here & there I have (almost) settled on Terabyte's Image for Windows Back-up.

Before I log into Paypal tommorrow & place the order any "dire warnings" before I proceed?? Is there a better choice for a Win 7 PC? (No!! I'm no longer interested in the win 7 built-in one).

I am not sure if many here use IFW, I haven't heard much mention on this forum. I have seen it mentioned elsewhere, usually highly regarded as I recall.

I use Paragon HDM 12 myself, it has a lot of extra functions for disk management, fixing boot issues etc., as well as imaging.

The most popular free version is macrium, and a newish one called Aomei Backupper is excellent.

Before shelling out shekels for Terabyte's Image (or any other paid backup program), try some of the freebies first, such as the ones SIW2 suggested. You can get more information on how to use and where to get Macrium Reflect here. Reflect is probably the most popular imaging program here on the Win 7 Forums so if you ever have problems with it, plenty of help will be available here.
