Teracopy: "Open error: The system cannot find the path specified"

I'd like to use Teracopy for all copying etc. but after moving to 7 from xp it's giving me these errors. I have Win 7 Pro 64-bit.

I copy from network drive for which I have read and write permissions as windows' own copy works fine. But with teracopy I immediately get error "Open error: The system cannot find the path specified". I'm trying to copy, not move, a folder with several subfolders from a network drive into local C:\. I have administrator privileges.

It seems that Teracopy somehow doesn't have even read permission for the network drive. Taking ownership of the network drive (samba share) is not possible. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you bought it I'd submit a ticket on TeraCopy support. If not, I'd post on their forum. The author was answering questions when I looked last(which admittedly was awhile ago.) :)

edit: another idea. Try KillCopy

It's free.

Thanks for the reply MilesAhead. I would have posted this on teracopy forum but I cannot find it. Where is it? On codesector all I can find is the ticket support (I have the free version).

I haven't been there in quite some time. You can look as well as I can.

edit: guess it's not so much a "forum" as people add comments to beta announcements. But you may be able to get the attention of the developer there:

I hate it when that happens. Only thing more annoying than being fixed for no reason is being broken for no reason. :)

I played around with TeraCopy for some time a couple of years ago. It seems like it helped much more with Vista prior to SP1. On W7 I didn't really see much benefit. But I haven't tried it in a while.
