Did anyone watch it?

Produced by Steven Spielberg (among others), I thought it was decent. Although it had a terribly cliched plot, it is still something I'll continue to watch. I also heard that a single episode has a budget of $20,000,000. :sarc:

I watched the first two episodes a few days ago, it seemed ok and with the absence of any decent sci fi stuff on the TV these days I think I'll continue with it.

I watched the first week and thought that it was "just ok". I missed week 2, but intend to go back and catch the episode on Hulu. It's interesting enough, but I wouldn't be too bothered if the series got cancelled either.

Watched both weeks. So-so.

It may improve.

It won't be canceled this season. They filmed the entire season back to back episodes.
What they shot is what they have.
So there is no way to improve or tweak as the season progresses.

They could cancel but I would think unlikely with the money they invested in it.

Playboy club got cancelled and even though they have already shot more episodes, they have no intention of airing any of them.

Terra Nova is just a High Tech Jarrasic park

It is a decent show but really the story doesn't add up we have to go back in time cause the future was messed up do to Man made devices and trash

I happen to catch this at work ,but wasn't all that impressed now if they had a new version of Bionic man i would be on that like sun screen on a hot bod

Yes, Playboy Club was the first show to go down this season.

I watched homeland the other night on my DVR and I really enjoyed it. It was slow for the first 10 minutes or so, but really picked up after that.

I like it. A bit too much family drama in the first episode but it passed. The "kid" is still on my hate list though. And after Avatar, it took me a while to warm-up to Commander Taylor. I thought it might turn into another "Lost" but you seem to get answers or and ending with each show. We'll see if that continues. The only thing still hanging is the "spy" and what the hieroglyphics mean. (A way back?) Or maybe I just missed it. And how did they get all that equipment there? I liked the way they separated the past from damaging the future. Since it is a separate "time stream", they should be able to avoid their catastrophic end with a meteor. Or maybe not. But what to do with all animals?

The CG is not all that bad. For the budget they're working under, I think it's pretty good. One HECK of a lot better than what's on the Chill Channel.

Terra Nova..
The pilot episodes "Genesis: Part 1 & 2" looked promising.
Last week's episode "Instinct" is what happens when you mix Alfred Hitchcock with Steven Spielberg.
Heavy on birds, less Jurassic. I wasn't impressed by "Instinct", but will continue to watch the show.
One "simply OK" episode doesn't make it or beak it for me.

I wish that "Human Target" hadn't got cancelled.

I agree with all you've said but I think it's the same time stream. :huh:

Anyway, it has the potential for one season. I can't see it progressing any further then that unless Season 1 ends with a huge cliffhanger.

You must have missed the explaination about the probe. They couldn't find it in the future. That's how they knew it WAS a different time stream and that what they did at Terra Nova wouldn't affect the future.
