Hi,

I restart my PC spam F8 and enable test mode. Windows boots up and then... nothing. it's normal windows starting without the watermark in either corner and I can't install drivers without certification.

I've no clue what's the problem.

Thx in advance for any help.

What have you done to the computer recently? Add new hardware/software? Any major changes? Or did this just start?

Off topic: how do you 'spam' F8?

...not helpful at all. small and privat programmers doesn't have the money to pay micro$oft their fee's for driver certification...

the only thing that could have effect any windows related thing would be the disabling of a microsoft service under services.msc. but I can't remember which. but it wasn't anything major, afair.

//edit:
you repeatedly press F8 = spam

Well if the developer cannot afford a certificate from Verisign (No money goes to Microsoft for this) then they should be using a User-Mode driver instead of a Kernel-Mode driver which does not require signing.

That was one reason Microsoft started to require driver signing, to get developers to use User-Mode drivers. Less stability problems, and issues to deal with. After all, only problems in the Kernel space cause Blue Screens Of Death.

I'm trying to understand the problem the OP is trying to solve. I guessing for what ever reason doesn't want signed drivers. What am I missing. How can we help?
The only thing I can think of is the verification that the system is legal. This is guess on my part.

I'm pretty much lost too. I wish people wouldn't make up their own terminology and expect others to understand what they mean.
