Hi TwiztedTD;

It appears that Trendnet has become Trendware? If so I didn't know? Anyway, the Vista compatibility site says:

Windows Vista Compatibility Trendware TEW423PI 54Mbps 802.11G Wireless PCI Network Adapter

32 bit but not 64 Bit. Sorry. However there is a Realtek RTL8185L driver for 64 bit Vista: Auto installation program (support Vista 64 and Vista) that might work for your card?

Realtek

Cheers!

After a few hours of trying everything I finally got my Windows 7 to use this card successfully.

I installed the drivers from the disc then the card like normal. After that Windows 7 and the Trendnet software were acting against each other. In XP x64 there is a setting to force Windows to control wireless connections. Not such an easy option in Windows 7.

Uninstall the Trendnet software and reboot. In "Network and Sharing Center" "Choose Homegroup and Sharing Options" and add the machine to a homegroup.

Viola! Everything works like it is supposed to with Windows controlling the wireless connection.

Microsoft really needs to change how easy it is to control wireless devices!!!!

Hope that helps someone out there.....
