Text cursor disappears in IE

Hello all,

Been having an annoying problem on various forums - the text cursor will disappear during typing.

Frequently when I try to move the cursor around with the arrows (or click to place it with the mouse) it will disappear and I have no idea where I'm about to type.

Anyone else come across this?

If IE is not working properly, often a reset will fix it: Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset.

When this happens to me I find that because I can no longer use the cursor, my only option is to press quickly on the Power Button to initiate a soft
re-boot. When the system comes back on, the problem seems to be solved.
