Can anyone recommend a free, simple, and basic program that I can download to send text messages to people (even when I don't know their service provider, etc.) ?

Is your phone connected to send txt or do you want to send with no phone? lots of free online sites to send txt

I want to text from my computer to someone's cell phone without using my phone in the process, or having to put the receiving phone on some contact list.
