Ok Back OT people, before I do use my prerogative to ban who the hell I like

This is one thread that certainly took a nose dive fast alright! Don't be afraid to step on a few toes to straighten this one up. You won't hear any complaints here.

At least Colonel Travis is onto something there like I was trying to get across before about never putting any full confidence in any leaks. The 7100s seen right before 4/25 were obviously polluted with something while the hour plus scan now on the x86 has so far come up negative for bugs.

You won't be able to until the public release on tuesday if you don't have a paid subscription or working through an MS partnership. Without either the links will remain greyed out until then. From that point you know the servers will be taxed!

As far as other places no one can post any links except for the nearest search engine. Then you risk the chance of getting into something you won't want! One old expression still seems to apply. "Haste makes Waste!"

In other words most waiting now will be downloading their copies in under 2 days time without being worried about where those are coming from but simply how will it take to complete the downloads!

OK here on Technet, got it when released, slow download mind you, but that was due to the 'rush'

Yes, actually I AM a paid subscriber. I have been for the last 11 years since I got my MCSE. How long have you been a subscriber? Oh, and my email address is registered, too.

The problem, is I have Comcast and they've been dicking around with high-bandwidth users here in Chicago. Even though I also PAY for the higher bandwidth, they don't seem to know that and EVERYTIME my PAID ass gets even close to a busy download site, Comcast thinks it's a torrent server and that I'm about to start d/l'ing Blu-Ray movies I HAVEN'T paid for. I'm sure Comcast will get it's act together and the reason I don't complain is because they've left my connection pretty much full steam ahead wide open otherwise.

And I can only imagine what the D/L site is going to be like on Tuesday... :sarc:

I honestly don't care if I have to wait until June. I was just curious because, well, I was just curious. I'm sure it's probably slowed down at Technet enough to get it, but it's not that big of a deal. It would be easiest to get it off an FTP server and that's why I asked. I fully understand everyone ELSE'S reply. I wouldn't give my password away and if I didn't know where it was at on an FTP site somewhere, I certainly wouldn't tell anyone anything other than to download the torrent.

It was a stupid question and a waste of bandwidth and time. As the saying goes, 'Ask a stupid question...' And that's all fine and jim goddamned dandy, but don't ever just assume to know me without asking or trying to get to know me, Drazenn. I wouldn't do that to you.

(unless you want the one with debug code...
2) the only way to get it like that would be if you (AFAIK) through a "private site " which users pay to download...
and lastly

I agree, they can't do that, but they will just deny it if you complain. File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, it will your best course of action. They also are a lot quicker to act when having to deal with the BBB rather than a random person complaining. Good luck

You are now after mid night on early May 4th. I don't think you'll be waiting too, too much longer now!

Simply count 24 to arrive at what? 12:35am May 5th Redding time! Since that's early, early morning figure how many hours to the start of the normal work day and then some. (7-9am brings that to 7-8.5hrs. off the top)

You actually should complaint,because you're not paying "pay-per-download" via HHTP,and honestly,haven't heard about blocking HTTP traffic.I know something very similar,but in FREE Wi-Fi nonprofitable associations.

HTTP traffic blocked,torrent sites blocked,you have to announce every download,and what left "full steam open"?Internet browsing and newspaper reading?

I have a tuner card still seeing problems getting it to record composite signal being input on the 32bit 7 installs while finding after a few tries it does well "with the 32bit drivers no doubt" on the 64bit installs there! For video and sound 64bit drivers requirements while an old XP MCE driven card works on x64?!

Anything from a Socket A to Intel P4 model cpu after 2003 should readily offer 64bit support since that was driven by the initial introduction of the 64bit XP for desktops. An older Celeron would likely lack there while most newer model laptops shouldn't have any problem.

Hey guys, I just got around to checking my MD5 hash as listed on Windows 7 center.com

Leaked Windows 7 Build 7100 image was infected with trojan | Windows 7 Center

Mine does not match! I have done Avast scans of the setup exe and it detects nothing.

My question is...if the hash does not match, do I have an infected version for sure? Thanks.

here i explained a few ways how a virus does not have to be in the setup.exe..

which is if you delete the iso and can try to see any symptoms of modification...

but if you dont have the same hashes....
then delete it!
do not trust it...
