The sims double deluxe

hey i just found my old sims double deluxe and i got a new laptop with windows 7, how can i install it and make it run? please help

Did you download the updated installer?
You need the Windows 7 Updates first.
You can install the updates from here:
TheSims2.com - Updates
Expansion add-on packs, most be install in order, Pack 1, pack 2 etc.

I also have a problem with running sims 1. I get a "access denied run in administrative mode" type deal. Can anyone help with this issue?
