Is the theme this site is built around. Look at the top left corner of the sevenforums "window", how it looks like Jade or green marble. That's awesome, the forum icons are really a nice touch too.

I think Aero would be super cool if you could simulate all kinds of translucent materials.

Am I missing something? This forum appears as described only when I use Aero, and has another appearance altogether when I use Classic.

I missed placing a smilie in my retort. The OP appears to be describing Aero and attributing it to the SF layout.

But thank you. Now, I know how padge you are.

"Padge" is the given name for each member of an ultra-cool group of guys from Nederland, TX. The word is derived from "partner." Over time, slurs of the word "partner" went as follows:

1. Partner
2. Padnah
3. Pod
4. Poj
5. Paj
6. Padge

Padge has been a popular word used in social settings in Nederland since 1996.

Total BS. Never heard of the word.

Asked my daughter if maybe I missed something, but she never heard of it either. :D

Not even a word that looks or sounds similar in Dutch. :geek:

Edit: hmm, could also mean I am not an ultra cool dude.

Now, you have missed something. Nederland, Texas. Part of the Golden Triangle. Home of many state football championships. You know, real American football.

But, that's cool.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for my ignorance on the golden triangle, and towns in Texas

At least I know now, why I'm not a member of any ultra-cool group. :D

no, the OP (me) is saying that the theme of this site appears to me to be a sort of "jade" Aero, and it looks really cool. I would really like to see an actually Windows Aero theme that looked like it.

it's actually quite possible to do what you're asking. by default, Aero shows these silly diagonal stripes behind windows. that resource is easily replaced with any design you want, including a marble texture to give the effect you're looking for.

i have even seen a Vista style that puts snowflakes there :)

my windows 7 machine is in the shop, but next week, i can help you with this. or, if you want to try yourself, let me know, it's pretty easy!
