i got this error when i try to install ""Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier - Arctic Strike DLC Pack.exe""" file

help me brother

I am dieing to play this 10 euro DLC

Are you right clicking the .exe to Run as Adminstrator?

This can occur if remnants of the program are still installed. If so uninstall in Control Panel>Programs and Features, then do a search for its keyword to delete any files related to it.

actually I tried running it RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR many times


i even right click on C/ drive and program files and program data
and went to security tab

and added full permission to everyone

actually i am the only one user of my windows

Its a UBIsoft product after all... you need to work hard at it... that's how they ask you to show them how much you want to play the games they work very hard to bring you.

But seriously... where did you download the DLC file? It might have gotten corrupted and you may have to download it again? Perhaps there is a corruption with your Instashield.exe file and you may need to download a new file?

I download it from official ubishop under my purchase orders !


and i just download it again
without pausing-resuming

constant download from start to end
but still have same issue

my bad luck
just resumed downloading Battlefield 3 Aftermath DLC now

You can go to Control Panel>User Accounts and create a new Test account with Admin privileges to see if it will install as Admin. This would tell you if your account is corrupted causing the problem.

If so work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7

The official UBI site is down more times than I can count, perhaps that is what is going on right now?

Also, as I stated before, your Instashield.exe might be corrupt as well, perhaps you need to download and install a fresh copy of it. I know I did that once with a game and I think it was a UBI game as well.

Did you try any of the other links I posted? all and all, we are just trying to help but if you don't tell us what is going on and just give us general answers, we can't help as best as you would want us to do so.

Once you encounter an Installshield rare error codes, creating a new account is not worth. You need to reinstall windows. I have a -5011 error in Installshield and never worked.

I am not saying you are wrong because I have never encountered a rare error codes but, the few times I have had problems with instashield, it usually gets corrupted, downloading a new instashield and install it solves the issue.

Reinstalling windows because of it is pretty hasty and a measure of last resort I guess

i just got new 1.5 Patch for Ghost recon future soldier 2012

and after installing this 1.5 patch

I am sucessfully able to install my ARCTIC DLC pack of 10 eurore !!


problem solved itsself by ubisofts latest patch
