Hi all
The new V 2010 looks great -- I enjoyed the original mini-series --this one is also good. (Sci Fi channel -- I think it's now renamed SYFY in the "general dumbing down" of any spelling that has 4 or more letters).

The second part of Stargate Universe is also back -- but I still don't like this series -- nothing like the original Stargate or Stargate Atlantis series both of which I enjoyed immensly).

However V 2010 is well worth a watch IMO.

The "Visitors" are back with a vengeance -- watch where you are going.

Cheers
jimbo

I've got V set to record, but I think I'll wait until I have a few episodes recorded before I start watching.

As for Stargate Universe, I'm still watching it but it's a little to dark and not as fun as the other SG stuff, but due to a lack of decent Scifi stuff these days I will carry on watching it.

There seems to be a dearth of good sci fi coming on to the small screen at the moment and a lot of shows just seem to disappear.

A couple of years ago there was a series about people being replaced by aliens in a small southern US swamp/bayou type town.
Kids started noticing that their parents were slightly different and then more and more people became aware of it. The local Ranger was trying to keep a lid on all this, ostensibly because he didn't want the feds experimenting on everyone but really he was one of "them".
All the original people seemed to be standing just under the water in the swamp/bayou, very spooky.
There seemed to be a connection between going into the water and being replaced by an alien.
I thought it was really good and was looking forward to the next series, where we would learn more about this mystery.
It just never came back on and now I can't remember it's title.
I just hate it when they do that.
Anyone else remember this?
