theme color help

okay so when i go into and change my theme, the color on the taskbar does not change. it stays the normal bluish color.

on that tutorial under step 2, the area highlighted, says custom and is grayed out on my system. and when i click to change, it brings up the easy of access color and appearance, instead of the other.

please help. thanks.

Do you have a video card that supports Aero, if not then you will only have the basic options to chose from, can you fill out your system specs in the link at bottom of your post so we can assist you better.

yesterday it was fine after i installed it for awhile. and previously when i had win 7 installed before i removed it. i was able to change the color, to the yellow and orange theme, but lately i cant. the transparency is not even active.


btw..i dont know my specs, unless i can find them on my computer, and how would i go about doing that.

Do know what Video card you are running and have you updated the Video drivers nad after updating have you Refreshed you WEI score, If you haven't run the WEI yet, try that and you might find that will restore your Aero and color themes.

well finally i was able to search for updates, and after two tries telling me updates could not be completed, i was finally able to install them, and after the restart, i am now able to change the color of my theme.

now to go find a nice wallpaper to fit my desktop.
