HELP! This is sooo frustrating.

I get this error message everytime I want to open a word document saved on my memory stick from another computer, or a file that's attached to an email.

I have new Toshiba Satellite 16" Intel Core i3 2.13GHz Laptop with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.

Any suggestions?

Make sure the USB drive is formatted FAT32. If it is formatted NTFS you will have all kinds of permission problems.

It has nothing to do with USB, it's absolutely a bug of office 2007. For me, sometimes it solves the problem by defaulting XPS printer instead of Adobe printer. However, it can't permanently solve the problem.
Upgrade to 2010, there's at least no this problem.
