Thin blue/yellow line on monitor

For whatever reason, this morning I have a thin blue vertical line down the right side of my desk top monitor. I purchased a new HP with Windows 7 in December of this year. The Samsung digital monitor is only 7 months old. I tried (foolishly) to tap the screen and the blue became yellow.

Wierd.

Any ideas?
