Another name for an oil free compressor is a diaphragm compressor. they differ from regular compressor in that, instead of a piston running in a cylinder requiring oil to lubricate them, they move a diaphragm in and out of a small chamber to compress the air. Since no lubrication is needed, no oil gets in the air. Here are some examples of oil free compressors.
